It seems I've started this all at the wrong time. It's that time of year, the quiet time. It's the period where the odd tittle trickles out while everyone wait for the next big thing to chime in on. Honestly nothing recently has grabbed my attention and made me want to actually sit down and spend sometime with it, well besides Deamon's Souls, which doesn't even have a release set outside Japan yet. If you like brutally hard medevil action games, it's one I would recommend highly.
I'm usually quite enamored with the "current gen", but recently I've found myself, not bored, just disinterested. Everything seems to be so similar, but then again I guess it depends on what you're currently looking for.
What I am looking forward to is BlazBlu from Arc System Works. Guilty Gear is an awesome series, so BlazBlu has a lot to live up to for me. I've sort of been getting back into the 2D fighters of late, and even decided to pick up a few I was missing for my good old Dreamcast. It's nice to see Marvel vs Capcom 2 getting another lease on life, even if it's a direct DC port, it's a great game to have a bash at now and again that doesn't take itself too seriously.
